Ryan D. Ebert
joined Hoard's Dairyman as the Art Director in 2007. Originally from a swine and poultry farm in Rio, Wis., he is no stranger to dairy processing, as his parents both worked for Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI).

As the art director, Ryan's main responsibility is layout and design of the magazine but his capabilities and duties go far beyond that to photography, digital design, multimedia creation, press checks, special publications and much more.

Ryan's talent and passion for agriculture and great design is showcased in his many awards and accomplishments, including over a dozen awards from the American Agricultural Editors' Association (AAEA) photography and design competitions for his work at Hoard's Dairyman. Many of his photos have been featured on the covers of Hoard's Dairyman and Hay & Forage Grower. He is also known for his unique World Dairy Expo supplement cover designs. He also led the redesign of Hoard's Dairyman, Hoard's West and hoards.com. Ryan created the programing for blogs on hoards.com and the e-newsletter, Hoard's Dairyman Intel. He also provides ongoing training and support for staff on current design and technology.

Ryan earned his degree in graphic design at Madison College. He currently is studying photojournalism through NYIP. He continues to be actively involved with AAEA, serving on the photo committee, the design committee and was elected in 2015 to a three-year term on the board of directors.
