Hoard's Dairyman Cow Judging Contest Rules

4-H CLUB/JUNIOR BREED ORGANIZATION DIVISION RULES

1. Only one entry per club. However, members also may enter with their FFA chapters, families or as individuals.
2. A club must be comprised of at least five members to be eligible for this division.
3. Four cash prizes will be given — $100 $75 $50 $25
4. Individuals also are automatically entered in the Junior Division (8 to 18 years old) or the Senior Division (19 years or older) and are eligible to receive cash prizes in those divisions (12 prizes in each, from $100 to $10).
5. Entries must be postmarked on or before March 20, 2014.
6. Mail entries to: Contest Dept., Hoard's Dairyman, P.O. Box 801, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538-0801
7. Keep a copy of your placings — no entries returned.
8. Indicate your choice for "Supreme Winner" by circling the letter of your overall favorite cow in the contest. (For example, you placed the Brown Swiss class A-B-C-D and A is your favorite cow; select her for "Supreme Winner.") Select only one winner.

AG-ED INSTRUCTOR DIVISION RULES

1. Only one entry per instructor in the Ag-Ed Instructor Division. However, an instructor also may enter with his or her family.
2. Four cash prizes will be given — $100 $75 $50 $25.
3. Instructors also are automatically entered in the Senior Division and are eligible to receive cash prizes in that division (12 prizes from $100 to $10).
4. Entries must be postmarked on or before March 20, 2014.

1. Teams must consist of 10 people from your co-op's or agricultural group’s board of directors. If a board has fewer than 10 members, they still may enter. But its board president must sign the statement on the form certifying the entire board has entered. Only one entry per 10-person team in this division. Individuals also may enter with their families or as individuals. And co-op and ag boards over 10 members may enter more than one 10-person team.
2. Individuals also are automatically entered in the Senior Division (19 years or older) and are eligible to receive cash prizes (12 prizes from $100 to $10).
