Travel Opportunities:
Dairy production course includes a field trip to several dairy farms, dairy club programming includes farm visits, dairy challenge team visits farms for training and annual Dairy Club trip to national ADSA meeting. The 2010 study abroad trip to Scotland was the first dairy specific trip taken in several years. We expect this to continue on an alternating year basis for the foreseeable future. There are animal science specific and broad-based agricultural study abroad trips as well. Semester abroad opportunities can be arranged.
Additional Information:
We make an effort to make dairy research opportunities available to undergraduate students. At least 2 students each year present abstracts at the national ADSA meeting.
