Easy access four-wheeler battery

Rather than replacing the hard-to-reach battery that's under the fender on our farm four-wheeler, we made our own battery bracket by welding angle iron onto the rear rack to make a holder. We also use a lawnmower battery instead of the expensive, short-lived, factory-sized batteries. An extension wire hooks from the new battery to the old battery terminal wires. A bungee strap firmly holds the battery in place and makes replacing or winter storage an easy job. The larger battery was half the price but has held a charge better than the expensive battery did.
