Safer calf hauler

calf hauler

After seeing some great adaptations of chemical totes for calf haulers in the Handy Hints’ section, we tried our own. Hoard’s Dairyman Farm staff folded one section of plastic down and cut off the top of the tote. This prevents contact with any rough plastic edges.

Our skid-steer loader fork has a high back. When we pick up our calf hauler, the back is flush to the opening created so jumpy calves do not injure themselves trying to jump out.
