The Youth Showmanship contest, held September 30, 2010, at World Dairy Expo used to include a knowledge quiz and fitting contest. This year though, the latter were eliminated and the contest is now based solely on a youth's ability to show an animal. Read more

Blondin Redman Seisme is the new queen Red and White. She was named Grand Champion Red and White earlier today at the Grand International Red and White show at World Dairy Expo. She is owned by Morsan Farms, Ltd. of Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. Coming in Reserve is Silvermine Adv Tally-Red-ET exhibited by Milksource Genetics of Kaukauna, Wis. Read more

With a herd dispersal planed for spring 2011, Clark and Joy Vilter of Four Winds Farm, Hartland, Wis. captured the honor of Grand Champion Guernsey at World Dairy Expo 2010. The cow- Four Winds Mentor Highlight was the winner of the four-year-old class. She was followed by Reserve Champion Stockwell Farms Reward Hailey who is a five-year-old. Read more
