December 1 marks the end of the comment period on the United States Department of Labor’s child labor regulation revisions.

Milk production, number of cows rose for October

In the Milk Production report released today by the USDA, milk production in the 23 major states is on the rise.

In the 23 major dairy states, milk production totals during October rolled in at 15.2 billion pounds. Compared to the same month in 2010, production was up 2.5 percent (0.4 billion pounds) from 14.8 billion pounds. Read more
