Zinpro Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Arturo Gomez to the Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) team as Dairy Veterinarian Europe. In this position, Dr. Gomez will be responsible for conducting research and providing dairy technical services in Europe, as well as the Middle East and North Africa. He reports to Dr. Christof Rapp, Regional RNS Manager Europe, Zinpro Corporation. Dr. Gomez earned his licenciatura en medicina vetererinaria (equivalent to a D.V.M.) from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. He earned a master's degree in clinical investigations from the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., following his residency in food animal production medicine. He brings more than eight years of in-field experience to this position, having independently owned and operated a veterinary practice, consulting with dairy farms in Spain and Portugal.
Dr. Gomez is currently completing a Ph.D. in public health and epidemiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. For the past three years, his research has focused on digital dermatitis pathophysiology and management practices. 9.19.2014
