ANIMART, LLC is pleased to announce the recent addition of Doug Wise to their Purchasing Department. As Supply Chain Manager, he will oversee the flow of product while working with both Sales and Operations to assure producers have the right products available to them at the right time. Wise attended Illinois State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics. He spent the next 28 years in the grocery business; and 22 of those years were in procurement, marketing and merchandising. His experience in purchasing for multiple locations will be vital as ANIMART continues to grow and serve the needs of producers in an ever-expanding market.

Doug grew up in a small town west of Chicago. Although he wasn't raised in farming, his mom was, as were many of his classmates growing up, so while ANIMART is his first agriculture related position, he's no stranger to the industry. He's recently returned to the country life, as he and his wife Tanya just moved to a farmette outside of Randolph and enjoy spending time with their two Great Danes and three cats. The couple's four children are all in their 20's, leaving Doug and Tanya plenty of time for the outdoor activities they love: hiking, camping, canoeing and fishing to name a few. Despite his Illinois roots, Doug is also a loyal Packer fan.
