Contest Encourages Travelers to take a #DairylandRoadTrip

Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board has launched the Dairyland Road Trip Photo Contest, a summer-long Instagram™ contest to encourage travelers to share their photos from the road. Dairy lovers may enter the contest by posting a Wisconsin Dairy photo to Instagram with the hashtag #DairylandRoadTrip. Photos can include visits to a Wisconsin Cheese shop, creamery, or a favorite dish made with Wisconsin Dairy. Entries can be individual photos or photo collages.

The contest will run June 1 through Sept. 2, 2013. Three winners will be selected; each will win a $100 Cash Prize (Visa Gift Card) and a Wisconsin Cheese gift box.

WMMB recently released a new edition of “A Traveler’s Guide to America’s Dairyland,” which is filled with inspiration for Dairyland Road Trips.

From first glance, the fold-out map’s new design beautifully showcases the essence of Wisconsin’s dairy industry – including lush, green grass and glowing, summer scenes. The Traveler’s Guide highlights 161 tasty points of interest, including creameries and retail stores featuring Wisconsin’s finest cheese, ice cream, butter, milk, yogurt and other REAL dairy products.
