During the organization's annual meeting in Yosemite last month, new leaders assumed their seat on Western United Dairymen's (WUD) Board of Directors and the newly elected Executive Board was announced.

WUD is a voluntary membership organization representing more than 60% of the milk produced in California. Membership benefits include resources in labor law, environmental regulations and pricing issues. Members decide the direction of state and federal legislative efforts affecting the dairy industry.

Western United DairymenThe 2015 WUD Convention hosted more than 320 attendees and 45 exhibitors for informative sessions and the exchange of valuable information. The 2016 event will take place March 16 and 17 at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park, Calif.
