More than $22,000 in educational support available; applications due March 15.


The Wisconsin FFA Foundation calls for scholarship applicants for more than $22,000 in educational funding. To be considered for financial support, applications must be received by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation by March 15, 2013.

Each year, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation works with industry members and companies to provide several scholarships to students based on demonstrated leadership, scholastic involvement, personal growth and future goals. Through the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, FFA members need to fill out one application to be considered for all scholarships for which the applicant qualifies.

The 2013 Wisconsin FFA Foundation scholarships are provided by companies and individual endowment funds as follows: WI FFA logo

· Kenneth Heideman Endowment - $1,000 (4)

· Arnold and Katherine Cordes Endowment - $1,000 (1)

· Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association - $600 (2)

· UW-Madison, Collegiate FFA - $600 (1)

To be eligible for a Wisconsin FFA Foundation scholarship, applicants must be a senior in high school or currently enrolled in a university or technical school, be a member in good standing of the Wisconsin Association of FFA and have maintained a satisfactory scholastic record.
