In addition to saving the date for these events, supporters of Wisconsin FFA have the opportunity to sponsor the golf outings through exciting new options. New this year, if sponsors register for a sponsorship by January 15, 2013, their name will be listed in the event’s brochure. Individuals and companies can now sponsor a hole starting at just $150.

Sponsorships and event registrations are now available online at http://wisconsinffafoundation.org/golf_outings.php. The outings are an 18-hole, best-ball scramble format for teams of four golfers. Per golfer registration fees are $80 and include 18 holes of golf, cart rental, breakfast and lunch and many prizes. Individuals unable to join the golf tournament are welcome to join in the fun at the awards luncheon for $15. The events are open to the public and will each feature a celebrity guest.

All proceeds from the golf outings will support Wisconsin FFA’s annual fund, which is the heartbeat of Wisconsin FFA and agricultural education’s financial support. The annual fund provides consistent resources to core programming and career preparation activities as well as any urgent needs that arise.

“We’re excited about the new sponsorship options for this year’s golf outings,” says Nicole Nelson, Wisconsin FFA Foundation executive director. “The events are a fun way to support Wisconsin FFA programming while receiving local visibility. A diverse audience including local chapters, alumni, businesses and farmers always makes the events fun and exciting for all involved.”
