The Wisconsin FFA Foundation has posted a position description for full-time executive director and call for qualified applicants to apply before February 1, 2013.

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation seeks enthusiastic leaders with strong competencies of influential communications, an entrepreneurial mindset, customer focus, leadership skills, persuasive sales abilities and superior people management skills.

Duties of the executive director will include fund development and management, event coordination, interactions with the Wisconsin FFA Foundation board of directors, management of staff and operations, working with Team Ag Ed and on-going development of focused marketing efforts.

"Not only is FFA membership growth in Wisconsin on a tremendous upswing, the Foundation has set very aggressive short- and long-term, fundraising goals to support that growth. We are excited to find a charismatic, passionate leader to join the Wisconsin FFA Foundation staff and help us continue this commitment to Wisconsin FFA."

Nicole Nelson, current executive director of the foundation has announced plans to pursue a greater role in her family's farming operation and will continue part-time with the organization.

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation builds resources through the development of partnerships which support the Wisconsin FFA mission of premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Three staff positions (two part-time) coordinate all fund development efforts, outgoing communications, manage board and committee activities, enter and track data and maintain finances.
