World Dairy Expo is pleased to announce the addition of Kayla Sonnenburg, Sales Coordinator, to its staff. She will assist with all aspects of sponsorship and trade show management for Expo and the Dane County Fair, oversee signage construction and placement, manage the sponsorship recognition program and assist with event layout and design for managed events. She received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she was active in the Pioneer Dairy Club. After graduation, she worked as a Breeding Program Specialist for Genex Cooperative. Her most recent employment was as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator for CRV USA in Madison, Wis.
Sonnenburg was raised on her family's dairy farm, Dolan Farms LLC, in Dodgeville, Wis. where she was a member of her local 4-H and FFA clubs, and enjoyed showing at the county fair. She and her husband, Ryan, live in Belleville, Wis. where they farm with Ryan's family on their 100-cow Registered Holstein farm, Sonnenburg Farms. She continues to show, exhibiting their animals at district and state shows, as well as World Dairy Expo. Sonnenburg is also an active member of the National Agri-Marketing Association, Green County Farm Bureau and Wisconsin Holstein Association.
