In their new roles, Anna Blake, PJ Neff, Margaret Quaassdorff, Matt Thistle, and Greg Wiener will work closely with fellow Vita Plus consultants, dealer partners, and dairy producers to help troubleshoot on-farm challenges, provide customized solutions, and offer the latest proven technologies and research.

Anna Blake joins Vita Plus Loyal as a dairy specialist in central Wisconsin. Blake earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May with a double-major in dairy science and Spanish language and Hispanic studies. During college, she studied abroad in Spain, increasing her fluency in Spanish. Blake was a member of the National Agri-Marketing Association and the Association of Women in Agriculture. She previously worked on her family's dairy farm as well as in the UW-Madison Animal Genetics Laboratory and Hilltop Dairy LLC.

PJ Neff joins Vita Plus as a dairy specialist in Indiana. Neff graduated from Purdue University in May with a bachelor's degree in animal sciences. During his studies, he participated in the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), Block and Bridle and Purdue Dairy Club. He also served as a project leader for the Jersey 4-H Club. Neff gained a broader view of the dairy industry through internships with JBS United and James Ahlem Dairy in California. He also worked at Snider Farms in Indiana and as a dairy research assistant at Purdue University.

Margaret Quaassdorff joins Vita Plus Lake Mills as a dairy consultant in southern Wisconsin. She earned her bachelor's degree in animal science at the University of Vermont in 2012. After graduation, Quaassdorff gained practical dairy management and cropping skills as a dairy intern at the W.H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute in Chazy, New York. She went on to complete her master's degree in dairy science with a concentration on dairy nutrition at UW-Madison in May. Quaassdorff is a member of ADSA and the National Dairy Shrine. She also participated in the National Dairy Challenge and volunteered as a 4-H camp leader and Badger Dairy Camp instructor.

Matt Thistle joins Vita Plus Loyal as a dairy specialist in central Wisconsin. Thistle graduated from UW-Madison in May with a bachelor's degree in animal science. As a student, he was a member of the Badger Dairy Club and participated in World Dairy Expo and ADSA. He worked at the UW-Madison Large Animal Teaching Hospital, caring for animals during treatment and surgery recovery and doing general chores. He also worked as a material handler for Marathon Cheese Corporation.

Greg Wiener joins Vita Plus as a dairy specialist in central Minnesota. He has years of practical experience in the dairy industry. Wiener previously managed a 1,000-cow dairy and worked as a nutrition consultant for a Vita Plus dealership based in Minnesota. He and his wife, Martha, and their daughter, Lizzie, live in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. In his spare time, Wiener runs his own cow-calf herd of Texas Longhorn cattle.
