CALIFORNIA GOLD SALE OPENS MONDAY

The California Gold Sale on JerseyBid.com starts Monday, February 9. More than 150 cows and bred heifers will be offered.

Online bidding will close Saturday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific (5:00 p.m. Eastern). Live bidding starts one hour later, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific, from Hilmar Cheese Company's banquet room and online at Jersey Auction Live.

NATIONAL YOUTH PRODUCTION CONTEST: ENTER ONLINE TODAY
The National Jersey Youth Production Contest is open to all AJCA junior members, with 20 awards (10 in two divisions) given each year.

To be eligible, juniors must be 9 to 20 years old on January 1, 2014 and own a Registered Jersey that completed a lactation record in calendar year 2014. It's easy to enter online, or you can print the entry form and mail it into the office.

But don't wait. The deadline to submit entries is March 1.

LIVING LIFETIME PRODUCTION CONTEST ENTRIES DUE MARCH 1

Cows alive as of December 31, 2014 are eligible to be nominated for the Leading Living Lifetime Production Contest. Minimum DHIR production of 200,000 lbs. milk or 9,500 lbs. fat or 7,500 lbs. protein is required to enter. March 1 is the entry deadline. Fax DHI cow page(s) to 614/861-8040 or submit by email.
