Accelerated Genetics is pleased to announce that three of its employees will be recognized at an Awards Luncheon during the National Association of Animal Breeders Annual Convention in the fall of 2016. The individuals will be recognized for their tremendous sales and service achievements throughout their tenure working in the A.I. Industry. They are Gerald Feikema, District Sales Representative; Bryce Fischer, Reproduction Services Technician and Cesar Silveira, District Sales Representative.

Gerald Feikema has become the seventeenth person in the last twenty years to sell 500,000 units of semen for Accelerated Genetics. Since Feikema began as a sales representative over thirty years ago, he's held to a couple of the same strategies that have helped him be successful in his role. The first one is the importance of building relationships with his customers, which is Feikema's favorite part of the job. Along with that is building the trust in his relationships by being responsive to customers' needs.
"His dedication to his customers and his passion for the industry is unmatched. He enjoys what he's doing and his people," says Jon Herrick, Regional Beef Specialist for Accelerated Genetics. "He has a great passion for the industry and the people that he works with. Gerald's dedication is expressed by the customer-focused service he provides."
Cato, WI
Bryce Fischer has bred quite a few cows in his short eight-year career with Accelerated Genetics. He will be recognized for breeding 100,000 cows. Before starting at Accelerated Genetics, Fischer managed a 650-cow dairy. This gave him the vast experience to be able to work closely with his large dairy customers.
From his experience on that dairy he made it his goal to provide good service and he knows his customers rely on him to make sure their cows get bred so their operation can smoothly.
"Bryce is a hard worker, there is no doubt about that," said Pam Hendel, Regional Sales Manager. "Bryce has a strong work ethic and his customers always come first. He starts early and puts in a long day. People have a great deal of respect for him."

Cesar Silveira is also being recognized for his achievement in selling over 500,000 units of semen. As for what he likes about his job, it's the relationship building that he gets to do when traveling throughout his sales area in the state of Washington. After twenty plus years in the industry, the dairy farmers are not just customers they are his friends.
"Cesar's continued success stems from his commitment to his customers. Using his knowledge of genetics and farm products, Cesar plays a key role in moving his customers toward their goals," says Geneva McCall, Area Sales Manager for Accelerated Genetics.
