Dr. Katie SpellerANIMART, Inc. announces the recent addition of Dr. Katie Speller to the Professional Services Department of the dairy and livestock division which provides animal health products, supplies and solutions to producers.

As a member of the ANIMART Professional Services team, Dr. Speller will be responsible for improving overall herd health and exploring her passions through consulting, educating and problem solving in the areas of Southern Wisconsin, Northeast Iowa and parts of Illinois.

"I am excited for the opportunity to work with producers, keeping their herds healthy and their businesses profitable," said Dr. Speller. "Working with my colleagues to help ANIMART be a progressive voice in the dairy industry is a great opportunity."

After growing up in suburban Chicago, Dr. Speller attended Indiana University and received a B.S. degree in Biology with minors in Animal Behavior, Chemistry and Psychology. She began working for the University of Illinois' College of Veterinary Medicine, where she found her passion for the bovine industry and spent the majority of her time working with cattle at the Dixon Springs Agricultural Center.

She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois where she continued to pursue her interests in food animal medicine. Dr. Speller joins the ANIMART team after spending 3.5 years at a mixed animal practice in Southern Illinois.
