Select Sires Select Sires, in conjunction with Holstein World magazine, is excited to announce a chance for youth to win an iPod touch by writing an essay about their favorite Select-sired Holstein daughter. Three winners will be selected to receive an iPod touch, a one-year subscription to Holstein World and will have their essay published in the Select Sires October 2012 Holstein World issue.

Youth, ages 9 to 21 (as of January 1, 2012), are welcome to enter a 500-word (or less) essay about their favorite Holstein female sired by a Select Sires bull. The animal does not have to be an animal owned or shown by the youth, but can be any Select-sired animal they admire. All essays should include the name of the sire and be accompanied by a photo of the animal. Photos can be professional or candid, but must be 300 dpi or 4 X 6 inches in size.
