Select Sires, Inc. is seeking a Dairy Programs Specialist. This new position based in Plain City, Ohio will report to the Vice President-Dairy Sire Product Line. Position will assist with both genetics product planning and marketing that will include helping to manage the product throughout the product lifecycle, to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, to help define the product vision, and to work closely with member cooperatives and internal departments to deliver winning products to help ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Dairy Programs Specialist will work collaboratively across the member cooperatives, subsidiaries and partners to insure the order process works seamlessly.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the dairy and dairy genetics marketplace
- Bachelor's Degree in a Dairy/Animal Science, Agri-Business or related area of study
- Experience in dairy and/or agricultural sales preferable
- Superior planning and Project Management skills
- Superior written and verbal skills in English
- Ability to function as a team player with minimal supervision and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel ~20%
