Select Sires' Professional Technicians Receive Advanced Training
Professional technicians from across the U.S. participated in the annual Select Sires Technician Leadership Conference in Holiday City, Ohio from July 27 to 30. Employees gained advanced education in reproduction and service to better serve Select Sires' customer-owners.

"These technicians are part of the largest field service team in the industry and work hard every day to create pregnancies. This conference is an excellent time to provide them with leadership training and give them the opportunity to share ideas with their colleagues."
The participants received in-depth information on the future of the technician force, professionalism, account management, synchronization protocols, maximizing genetic selection, limiting inbreeding as well as a fertility research update. Attendees also had a chance to practice their on-farm software skills and learn more about the CowManager® activity system. A visit to Vissers Dairy in Mark Center, Ohio allowed for on-farm discussion and training.
