Macy Sarbacker recently joined the Vita Plus staff as a marketing and communications specialist. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Sarbacker will provide marketing, branding, and project management for events, training efforts, tradeshows, and customer meetings. Additionally, she will provide editorial leadership in translating technical and product information into easily understood marketing materials, encompassing print, audio, video, and web communication channels.Sarbacker has a lifelong passion for the dairy industry. She was introduced to agriculture at a young age on her family's farm, Sarbacker Cattle Company in Belleville, Wisconsin. Actively involved in various agriculture organizations, she went on to study at Iowa State University and earned a degree in agriculture journalism and mass communications. Through internships and her professional career, she has had experience working with A.I. organizations and freelancing for multiple agricultural publications.
Most recently, Sarbacker was a dairy editor for a Wisconsin agricultural newspaper. She was responsible for providing professional editorial content for the weekly publication, managing and promoting social media accounts, and assisting with editorial needs of other sections.
In 2011, Sarbacker served as the Dane County Fairest of the Fair and promoted the event as a media spokesperson. She remains involved with the Dane County Fairest of the Fair program, serving on the committee. Additionally, Sarbacker is a dairy and project leader for Mudsliders 4-H and a member of the Wisconsin Holstein Association.
