He will serve as the Field Training and Customer Support Manager
SCR Dairy is pleased to announce today that Steven Pavelski of Greenfield, Penn., has joined its U.S. team.
As SCR Dairy's Field Training and Customer Support Manager, Steve will work directly with SCR's U.S. dairy customers and members of their management team-including nutritionists and veterinarians?to maximize the benefits of SCR's breakthrough technology in rumination and activity monitoring. He will also provide software training to all users, support staff and SCR distributors.

"His extensive dairy experience and management background mean he will be able to quickly identify dairy customer needs and how they can optimize rumination technology on their farm. His insights into dairy reproduction and transition cow management will offer customers practical expertise in maximizing the health and productivity of the health and productivity of individual cows, groups and herds."
Prior to joining SCR Dairy, Steve served as an area manager in the Northeast for ABS Global for more than 10 years. He managed independent reps, provided training for customers and reps, and carried out successful mating-reproduction programs for dairies.
Previously, Steve managed the Morrisville State College herd in New York and co-taught an introductory dairy practices course. He began his career in California, first organizing progeny promotion tours and international visitors in 10 western states for ABS Global, then serving on the management team for a 12,000-cow dairy near Tulare.
He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Dairy and Animal Science from Penn State University and is active in local dairy- and community-related activities. He is also embryo transfer certified.
