Professional Dairy Producers™ (PDPW) will offer a specialized workshop to help dairy farmers create a proactive communication plan for their dairy business. The training, a part of the Dairy's Visible Voice® curriculum, will be held Thursday, January 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Baraboo, Wis.

With the expert knowledge of trainer Renea Heinrich, public relations counselor at MorganMyers, participants will define the farm's communication goals, objectives and identify key messages to build their public relation efforts. By drafting a proactive communication plan for crisis and ongoing community relations, attendees will have the tools and resources needed to put their plan in motion. At the end of the training, participants will understand what it takes to build public trust and increase two-way communication between the farm and their neighbors.

This workshop will be held at Accelerated Genetics, E10890 Penny Lane, Baraboo, WI 533913. To register for the workshop, contact PDPW at 800-947-7379, or go online for more information and registration at www.pdpw.org.
