Professional Dairy Producers Foundation (PDPF) is seeking applications for educational grant dollars. PDPF is looking to support unique programs that help build dairy producer professionalism and public trust in how dairy products are produced. Programs should be consistent with the PDPF vision of a professional, proactive and prepared dairy community. Grant applications are due June 1, 2015.

"We support educational programs that grow our industry's people and youth and build trust with our consumers," says Logan Bower, dairy producer from Blain, PA and Chair of the Foundation Board. "Education throughout the production chain is the key to keeping our rural dairy communities strong."

Organizations may apply for grants for up to $5,000. The maximum amount given to any one organization will be $5,000. For grant criteria and an application package, visit www.dairyfoundation.org.

  • PDPW Cornerstone Dairy Academy™- growing the dairy community
  • The Dairyland Initiative-animal welfare education
  • Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association HACCP for proper drug use for safe milk and meat
  • North Carolina Dairy 20-40 -growing producer professionalism
  • Fond Du Lac County Ag Birthing Center-Consumer Education
  • Yahara Pride Farms-educating farmers of the Yahara watershed on best management practices
  • Youth Leadership Derby®, Dairy Mentorship Program and the Agriculture Community Engagement™ (ACE) On-the-FarmTwilight Meetings, all projects of the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW).


Professional Dairy Producer FoundationThe Professional Dairy Producers Foundation was established by Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin in 2002 as a way to raise funds and awards grants for educational programs.
