During the training, employees increased their knowledge of cattle reproductive anatomy and physiology, heat detection, synchronization, semen handling, artificial insemination, and dairy and beef genetics.

Those completing the program include Genex Reproductive Technicians, Kevin Maddox of Clyde, New York; Melissa Pitzel of Yorktown Heights, New York; and Aubrey Happel of Plymouth, Massachusetts, as well as Reproductive Program Senior Technicians, Joseph Lunette of Glenfield, New York; Tyler Knippel of McFarland, Wisconsin; and Brittney Kruse of Lakefield, Minnesota.

The program emphasized qualifications needed for the employees to provide effective cattle reproductive services on Genex members' dairy farms across the U.S.
