Vets Plus logoVets Plus, Inc. is honored to receive the NASC Visibility Award for the third time and second consecutive year. The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) honored a number of companies with the award during its annual conference earlier this month.

The NASC Visibility Award is given to companies who demonstrate a commitment to the NASC Quality Seal and the mission of the organization. The seal is used on product labels and marketing materials to indicate that the manufacturer has met established quality standards in manufacturing and labeling.

Dr. Anita Sinha, director of quality management at Vets Plus, was present at the conference and accepted the award. "NASC's regulatory guidance has elevated our entire industry and, through the implementation of the quality seal, the organization has improved customer trust of supplements for pets," she said. Dr. Sinha is responsible for the company's quality programs and coordinates with NASC to maintain the appropriate standards in production, labeling and recording. She said, "Vets Plus is constantly working to improve our processes to manufacture the highest quality products, whether it wears our label or one of our customers'." In 2014, NASC recognized that effort by adding Vets Plus to the council's Preferred Suppliers list.

Dr. Sinha expressed pride in the manufacturing and quality teams at Vets Plus for their efforts in producing quality supplements for companion animals. "Everyone is responsible for quality," she said. "It's not just one person checking at the end; quality starts with purchasing the best ingredients and requires the dedication and focus of every person-from production to packaging, shipping and customer service-to manufacture the highest quality supplements for our customers."
