The Illinois Division Board of Midwest Dairy Association is awarding three scholarships to students from dairy backgrounds. The annual scholarships are presented to students displaying leadership, academic performance, work experience, and participation in activities and events.
Winners of the 2015 scholarship awards are the following:
- Emily Irwin, Belvidere;
- Daniel Obert, Orangeville; and
- Megan Opperman, Rockford.
Each of the $1,000 scholarships will be used at an accredited college or university. Winners are required to be from a family whose dairy contributes funding to Midwest Dairy Association.
