In this position, Bolen will travel the country evaluating young sire progeny, organizing daughter and bull photography and conducting tours for international and domestic visitors. Bolen is based out of the company's headquarters in Plain City, Ohio.

Bolen pixtBolen has spent the last two years as a SMS genetic consultant and Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) coordinator with NorthStar Cooperative in Michigan and Indiana. Prior to that, he served as the 2013 Select Sires dairy sire marketing intern where he assisted the dairy progeny specialist with daughter and bull photography and evaluation.

Bolen is a May 2013 graduate of The Ohio State University where he majored in animal science and minored in agricultural business. He was a member of the 2012 Ohio State dairy judging team where he was named All-American at World Dairy Expo, and was active in the Buckeye Dairy Club, serving as the chairman for the Buckeye Classic Jersey Sale. Bolen is active on his family's farm, Highland Jersey Farm, located in Fremont, Ohio where he exhibits animals at state and national shows.
