She'll also work with the All-West team to assist in heat detection and Select Reproductive Solutions (SRS) work.

After graduation from Washington State, Maddie spent her time working as a Veterinary Technician at the Yreka Veterinary Hospital. In school, she spent time on the WSU Knott Dairy milking, and working in calf care, breeding and feeding. She also became the WSU Herd Manager for the Student Swine Co-Op and spent three years in the 150 sow farrow-to-finish hog operation.

Maddie served as president of the Kitsap County 4-H Club and earned a Pork Plus Quality Assurance Certification.

"I'm anxious to learn everything that goes on with day-to-day operations of All-West," explained Maddie. "I've already experienced so much and can't wait to gain more valuable, hands-on training. I look forward to learning about the SMS mating program and other new genetic technologies that are available to producers in the All-West area!"

Nickel began her work with the All-West team in September.
