99th annual meeting of Michigan Milk Producers Association

Delegates attending the 99th annual meeting of Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) on March 19, 2015 reelected Mark Halbert, of Battle Creek, to an at-large, three-year term on the board of directors.

During the board's reorganizational meeting, held after the delegate meeting, the following officers were elected: President: Ken Nobis, St. Johns; Vice President Mark Halbert, Battle Creek; Treasurer: Eric Frahm, Frankenmuth.

Board members reelected during district meetings include: Hank Choate, Cement City, MMPA District 1 and Eric Frahm, Frankenmuth, MMPA District 7. David Pyle, Zeeland, MMPA District 3 and Corby Werth, Alpena, MMPA District 4 were elected to their first terms on the MMPA board.
Delegates also elected representatives to the MMPA Advisory Committee.

Members of this committee serve as a liaison between the membership and the board of directors and management.

Advisory Committee members elected this year to a two-year term are:

District 2: Richard Thomas, Middlebury, IN; Don Bever, Delton; Jim Droscha, Charlotte
District 3: Burke Larsen, Scottville; Bill Stakenas, Freesoil; Gary Nelsen, Grant
District 4: Dave Folkersma, Rudyard; Steve Brock, Daggett; Ron Lucas, Posen
District 5: Tom Jeppesen, Stanton; Bruce Benthem, McBain; Amy Martin, Leroy
District 6: Kris Wardin, St. Johns; Aaron Gasper, Lowell; Steve Thelen, Fowler
District 7: Eric Bergdolt, Vassar; Steve Foley, Millington; Rod Fowler, Chesaning
District 8: Mike Bender, Croswell; Scott Lamb, Jeddo; Mike Noll, Croswell
