The only yogurt(s) worth drinking

Lucky Layla Farms expands and reaps benefits of new state of the art dairy farm

Dallas-based Lucky Layla Farms is thrilled to announce the completion of their new state of the art dairy farm, Springville Farms. With the new facility boosting productivity levels, the Lucky Layla brand is poised for expansion throughout the southwest region at the end of this year, enabling yogurt lovers across the states to experience the goodness that is Lucky Layla drinkable yogurts-the only yogurts worth drinking.

Lucky Layla Farms was established in January 2004, when a third generation dairyman from a local Plano, Texas dairy farm decided it was time to turn his high quality milk from his award winning Guernsey and Jersey cows into a niche, marketable handcrafted dairy product. The result: an award-winning artisan dairy line under the Lucky Layla Farms brand helmed by seasoned dairyman, Todd Moore.

The recently completed Springville Farms is not a typical big cattle Texas dairy farm. Instead the focus is to make Todd's Guernsey and Jersey cows happy and comfortable, while maximizing productivity and quality. Rather than putting his cattle on concrete like a typical dairy operation, Todd lets his 600 head of cattle roam free on 1180 acres of lush green grass. Todd also built two, three acre cooling lakes, where his Guernsey and Jersey cows can swim (or float) and cool off from the unbearable heat. By naturally cooling the cows, they will in turn eat more grass and therefore produce more milk. As a vertically integrated company, Todd then takes the premium milk from Springville Farms, to the Lucky Layla creamery located just a few miles outside of Dallas.

Each Lucky Layla product is all-natural and handcrafted using milk from the rBGH-free estate Guernsey and Jersey cows. With the ultimate goal of simply providing customers the healthiest, farm-fresh dairy products on the market, Lucky Layla outshines competitors with its drinkable yogurts, golden butter, caramel and yogurt cheese.

Contributing to a healthy lifestyle, Lucky Layla's core product is their superior tasting, creamy drinkable yogurts. The yogurts are handcrafted by in-house yogurt artisans and feature real fruit pulp, active probiotics (LD. Bulgaricus and S.S. Thermophilus) with no additives or preservatives and are low in sugar, sodium and cholesterol-lower than any product in the area. At 200 calories or less per serving, these yogurts are the perfect meal replacement or snack for the entire family, and come in twelve fresh flavors: banana, blackberry, blueberry, custard apple, guava, mango, passion fruit, piña colada, strawberry, peach, plain and pure (no sugar). The yogurts can be found in select Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas Whole Foods stores, Central Markets, Sprout Markets and other regional retail outlets.
