ANIMART, LLC is pleased to announce the recent addition of Valeri Lane to the Inside Sales department of the dairy and livestock division which provides animal health products, supplies and solutions to producers.
As a member of Inside Sales, Lane will work closely with Territory Managers in Northwest Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota to build and maintain customer relationships. She will use her education and experience in dairy to help producers remain successful."Valeri is a great addition to ANIMART," says Dan Ellsworth, President & CEO of ANIMART. Lane is a Lubbock, Texas native and spent the first part of her career in the insurance industry. It wasn't until 2013 when she made a big life change that she discovered her love for dairy. In a move that would take her down a completely different career path, she started work at a farm in New Glarus, Wisconsin. There she learned to milk cows, help heifers calve, care for calves as well as handle other farm chores. It was on that farm where she discovered her passion. She then attended UW-Madison's Farm and Industry Short Course (FISC) with a focus in Dairy as well as the Wisconsin School for Beginning Farmers, graduating both programs with honors. From there she continued her on-farm work and her passion for the dairy industry has continued to grow.
"Although I do miss being on farm," says Lane, "being at ANIMART gives me the best of both worlds. I get to have more time with my family and I get to work in the dairy industry; learning, growing and fueling my passion to help producers be successful."
Valeri has two sons, ages 21 and 16, and cares for her 4 month old grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, biking, horseback riding and reading.
