Lallemand Animal Nutrition announces the addition of two new members to the North American team: Bart Dunsford, PhD, Business Development Manager and Salvador Ordaz, Territory Business Manager, Mexico.

"Both have extensive experience in their respective fields and are an ideal fit for our company ? as we strive to provide profitable solutions to all aspects of the animal agriculture industry."
Dr. Bart Dunsford

Dr. Dunsford brings more than 20 years of experience supporting the swine, aquaculture and companion animal industries in more than 40 different countries. In his new role with Lallemand, he will be focusing on the sales and support of swine, poultry, aquaculture and companion animal businesses.


Dr. Dunsford received his BS in Animal Science and Industry from Kansas State University, then went on to receive his M.S. in Nutrition and his PhD in Veterinary Anatomy with an emphasis in swine nutrition from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the American Society of Animal Science, American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists, and has served on several AFIA committees.

Salvador Ordaz

Ordaz brings extensive forage experience to the Lallemand team. He previously worked as the agricultural supervisor of forage production in Beta Santa Monica SPR DE RL, Mexico. He also worked with the Chilchota Dairy Farm supervising harvesting, buying forages and managing the internal laboratory. Ordaz has deep roots in agriculture and oversaw his family farm, which is focused on forage and vegetable production.


In his new role, Ordaz will be responsible for technical and customer support for the Sil-All® line of forage inoculants in Mexico. He also will offer assistance to forage growers throughout Mexico to help them create high-quality silage that will increase their production and reduce their feed costs.

He graduated with honors from the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro and focused his studies on agronomy and crop science. Ordaz has also led a conference on crops at the University of Durango.
