Hay and forage producers are now able to produce concise round bales with some of the similar production advantages of large square balers, as well as create higher bale densities, with the introduction of the Comprima V 150 and Comprima V 180 balers from Krone.

These innovative balers are the newest models introduced in the Krone Comprima round baler line.

Krone round baler picture"The Comprima round baler design is simple: produce a round baler with the similar functionality and production as the BiG Pack large square baler from Krone, offer significantly higher bale densities regardless of condition and provide unmatched efficiency and productivity," explains Jody McRee, Krone Manager of Sales, Southern Region.

The first essential element in achieving these results is the camless EasyFlow pick-up provided on both models. The camless design requires 58% fewer moving parts leading to less wear and lower maintenance costs. An added benefit to the camless pick-up is its 30% higher operational speed to increase throughput and efficiency.

The Novogrip belt and slat elevator system uses a set of endless belts created from layers of fabric and rubber, resulting in denser bales. The horizontal metal slats connect between the two belts to intermesh with all crops, ensuring the bale is constantly turning in all conditions.

These models produce 4' wide bales and use a variable chamber for heights of 39"-60" with the Comprima V 150 model and 39"-72" with the Comprima V 180 model. The Comprima balers produce a dense bale no matter the crop.

All baler functions can be controlled with the standard CCI 200 color, touch-screen monitor. This ensures operator comfort and complete control of all baler functions from the tractor seat. All Comprima balers are ISOBUS compatible.
