Kemin welcomes Jason Ackerman, Eric Dorr and Wesley Wilson to the commercial sales team for the animal nutrition and health division in North America. In other division news, Dr. Fernando Valdez transitions to vice president of the monogastric commercial sales team, Kevin Herrick now serves as the technical service manager for dairy and Dillon Mellick is promoted to associate product manager.

Jason Ackerman will serve as a product manager focusing on the swine industry, particularly CLOSTAT® and ButiPEARL™. Prior to joining Kemin, Ackerman was the director of sales and marketing for LLOYD, Inc. He also served as director of marketing for Professional Veterinary Products from 2003-2010. Ackerman has a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.

Eric Dorr will serve as a key account manager for the ruminant market in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, Dorr was owner of an independent sales representation firm specializing in the distribution of beef and dairy products and services. Previously, Dorr worked for Lallemand Animal Nutrition. Dorr has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University.

Wesley Wilson will serve as a sales associate focusing on poultry in the eastern United States. Prior to joining the team, Wilson worked for the company's veterinary division developing relationships in the livestock and poultry industries. Wilson has a Bachelor of Science in poultry science from North Carolina State University.

Fernando Valdez joined Kemin in 2000. Prior to his recent promotion to vice president of the monogastric commercial sales team, Valdez served as the technical services director for the animal nutrition and health division in North America. Valdez holds a Bachelor of Science in dairy science from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in dairy science from Oklahoma State University, completed his doctorate in animal nutrition at Washington State University and his post-doctoral degree in animal science at the University of Minnesota.

Kevin Herrick transitions from the global animal nutrition and health division to the technical service manager for dairy in North America. Prior to joining Kemin, Herrick worked as a dairy production consultant for Land O' Lakes Purina Feed and as a herdsman for a large dairy in South Dakota. Herrick completed a Bachelor of Science in animal science, a Master of Science in ruminant nutrition from South Dakota State University and a Ph.D. in dairy science from South Dakota State University.

Dillon Mellick will serve as an associate product manager focusing on antimicrobials, particularly Sal CURB™. Mellick joined Kemin in October 2011 as a quality assurance auditor. He received his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Coe College.
