At John Deere Drive Green Challenge events, it's all about new Equipment

More 2014 events give more guests the chance to check out tractors and implements and win equipment.

John DeereWith hundreds of Drive Green Challenge events planned for this year, consumers looking for John Deere utility tractors, attachments and implements, plus Gators and lawn and garden tools will have more opportunity to see and test drive the latest equipment. They'll also receive a special discount on John Deere equipment and a chance to win a John Deere 3E Series Compact Utility Tractor with loader and mower package, plus monthly cash vouchers valid at John Deere dealerships across the country.

John Deere dealers across the country are hosting Drive Green Challenge events from March through October. These popular events are designed to give property owners, farmers and ranchers, commercial lawn and landscape operators and interested consumers a chance to test drive John Deere utility tractors, including John Deere 1 Family Sub-compacts, 3E Series and 5D/5E Series Tractors. Guests will have the opportunity to compare features of equipment and ask questions about the different models of tractors, attachments and implements.

According to Steve Geick, tactical marketing manager with John Deere, thousands of people took the opportunity to drive the equipment, kick the tires and speak with knowledgeable equipment experts at hundreds of local events held last year.

"The best thing about these events is the fact that we have lots of different equipment models available at a single location so customers can easily check out all the features for themselves," Geick explains. "Plus they can take advantage of special Drive Green savings because all qualified registered attendees will receive a discount coupon that can be used toward the purchase of a new John Deere tractor."

The theme for this year's Drive Green Challenge is "See it. Drive it. Own it." Local John Deere dealer experts will be on hand at all events to demonstrate the equipment, answer questions and help customers find the right size and model of tractor and other tools that will best fit their property and the jobs they want to accomplish.

Geick adds whether it's their first tractor or tenth, Drive Green event visitors will come away with knowledge they can't get from a book, the Internet or anywhere else. "At the same time, we want to make each dealer event a fun, informative and rewarding experience for everyone who attends."

As an added incentive, people who attend this year's Drive Green events will also have a chance to win a John Deere 3032E Compact Utility Tractor with D160 Loader and Frontier RC2060 Rotary Cutter. In addition, one $500 John Deere voucher, valid towards the purchase of any John Deere and Frontier branded products, parts, attachments, and toys will be given away each month from March through October during the promotion.

Admission to all Drive Green events is free and no pre-registration is required to attend.
