FilamentFilament Marketing, LLC announces the hiring of Kayla Jentz as a media relations executive. Jentz will be working with the company's client management teams to assist with the development and implementation of strategic marketing communications plans and initiatives.

Filament Marketing Kayla JentzJentz joins the Filament team after nearly three years with DairyBusiness Communications. There Jentz held a variety of roles, but most recently served as the editor of HolsteinWorld. She also provided editorial assistance for DairyBusiness East, DairyBusiness West and DairyBusiness Weekly. Prior to joining DairyBusiness Communications, Jentz worked as the communications coordinator for Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium and as marketing associate for ANIMART, an animal health supplier.

Jentz earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied life sciences communication. While on campus, Jentz continued to pursue her interest in dairy by staying active in Badger Dairy Club and through participation on the intercollegiate dairy cattle judging team.

Jentz grew up on her family's Registered Holstein dairy farm. She, along with her husband Casey and his family, currently own a herd of 50 purebred Angus cattle.
