The HygieneStation is the new feeding station for calves, used in conjunction with the H&L100 automatic feeder. Its new technical functions implement the latest developments and requirements, thus ensuring optimum hygiene and nutrition for calves.
All tages advantages at a glance:
Always a clean teat! With the HygieneStation, the teat is cleaned of saliva following each visit. Contamination of the teat is reduced by an average of 80%!
Perfectly clean tube: For the first time, the new HygieneStation automatically flushes out and cleans the entire milk line right up to the teat after each feed. No part of the tube remains uncleaned.
Using Mother Nature as an example: The downward slant of the teat supports the calf's natural drinking position. Stretching the head encourages the natural reflex of the oesophageal groove and reduces the risk of milk passing into the rumen.
Now the calves can learn for themselves: Freshly mixed milk is in the teat in only 4 seconds. As soon as a calf sucks on the teat, a small amount of milk flows into its mouth. This stimulates the calf's initial drink impulse; manual learning is necessary in only exceptional cases.
Now the feeding day is a full 24 hours: The teat is constantly lit by an LED. This enables calves to position themselves better at night, and the milk intake increases. It also means that the cowshed is calmer during the day.
Even cleaning is easy as ABC: The teat can be easily changed with the quick release fastener, and all other components are at a comfortable working height. The HygieneStation is the only feeding station on the market that can be tipped upwards by 90° to allow the area to be cleaned of manure.
