Hubbard Feeds Inc. Commits 2nd Year Financial Support to Cattlemen's Foundation Fundraiser Proceeds to Support Feeding South Dakota
Hubbard Feeds Inc., the leading provider of researched-based, animal nutrition products, has
announced its 2nd year Sponsorship of the Prime Time Gala, a Cattlemen's Foundation fundraiser focused on helping to end one of South Dakota's biggest problems: Hunger; and promoting beef as a healthy part of a balanced diet.
The South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation Prime Time Gala is scheduled for June 27, 2015 in Sioux Falls, SD. The Gala will include two separate events at the Sioux Falls Convention Center an upscale banquet dinner and county music concert at the Sioux Falls Arena featuring Billy Currington and Tyler Farr. All proceeds from the concert will support Feeding South Dakota, a hunger relief organization working to eliminate hunger in the state.
Hubbard Feeds is proud to help support the South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation raise awareness of the hunger problem that exists in South Dakota, and the need to provide more donated products to food insecure individuals and families. In 2014, Feeding South Dakota as a whole distributed 12.5 million pounds of food, providing hunger relief to all 66 counties in South Dakota.

- The hunger relief organization provides emergency food assistance for an estimated 190,000 people every year.
- Over 120,000 individuals in South Dakota live at or below the poverty line.
- Almost half of the individuals Feeding South Dakota pantries serve are children and infants.
- Feeding South Dakota provides 10.4 million meals to hungry individuals across South Dakota. In order to meet the hunger gap across South Dakota, it needs to provide an additional 16 million meals.
