Dr. Tom Lawlor, executive director of research and development at Holstein Association USA, will present a webinar on updates to the Total Performance Index® (TPI) formula and the genetic base change at 1 p.m. EST, Thursday, Nov. 13. All breeders and other interested individuals are invited to participate.

Beginning with the December genetic evaluation, the genetic base will be updated to center on cows born in 2010, and the TPI will include two new components: Feed Efficiency and a Fertility Index.
