Chesterfield…The Heart of America Dairy Expo, presented by Hiland Dairy Foods, will be January 23-25, 2014 at the Ramada Oasis Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri.

"We are really excited to offer dairy farmers in the Midwest an alternative for educational programming closer to home and directed to our needs," says Expo Chairman and dairy farmer Larry Purdom of Purdy, MO.

"Last year we drew 400 attendees from 10 states. We have the largest dairy trade show south of Madison and Sioux Falls.

"Registration is free for dairy farmers and their families with a nominal registration fee for allied industry representatives. All dairy farmers and allied industry, regardless of state, are invited to attend.

"The Ramada Oasis Hotel and Convention Center offers a convention hall which will house over 60 dairy exhibits and equipment inside. The Ramada is conveniently located on the north side of Springfield at Glenstone and Interstate 44," says Purdom.

"This year's Expo kicks off with a Grand Opening Trade Show reception on Thursday night January 23 including an Early Bird Seminar featuring new CEO Jim Mulhern (photo) of the National Milk Producers Federation of Washington, DC. Missouri's dairy organizations will also continue to conduct board meetings and annual meetings during the Expo," says Dave Drennan, Expo Sales Manager.

"We also don't want travelers to forget that Branson is only 45 miles away from Springfield so we hope they plan a trip and enjoy all Missouri has to offer," concludes Drennan.
