Competition was fierce in the 2015 American Cheese Society Judging and Competition. More than 1,779 products were submitted by a total of 267 companies. Crave Brothers' awards ranged from recognition for its fresh deli cheese to globally inspired specialties such as Italian and Hispanic-style fresh cheeses, and flavored cheeses.

Earlier this year, Crave Brothers introduced Cheddar Cheese Curds, made fresh weekly. White Cheddar Cheese Curds, a traditional snack, won First Place in the Fresh Unripened Cheeses/Cheese Curds category. Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Curds were also awarded First Prize, in the Flavored Cheeses/Cheese Curds with Flavor Added category. In addition to being convenient snacks, Cheddar Cheese Curds are a simple way to elevate salads and appetizers to the next level.

In the Italian Type Cheeses section of the competition, Crave Brothers earned two awards. Farmer's Rope String Cheese, a handmade deli string cheese, took First Place honors in the Mozzarella Types category. With its fresh flavor, Farmer's Rope String Cheese is an ideal choice for snacking, melting and shredding. All told, Farmer's Rope String Cheese has been recognized with a total of 23 awards.

In the Fresh Mozzarella/Under 8 Ounces category, Crave Brothers Fresh Mozzarella-Bocconcini won First Place. This ball-size Fresh Mozzarella can be sliced and served with fresh tomatoes or peaches, or paired with seasonal grilled vegetables. Add it to your panini recipes, or serve it as an appetizer with sparkling wines such as Cava. Since 2002, Crave Brothers Fresh Mozzarella has earned 20 awards in prestigious competitions.
