Filament Marketing, LLC, announces the hiring of Amanda Veum as a marketing communications coordinator. In this part-time position, Veum will employ her writing, editing and project coordination skills to assist the company and its clients with a variety of communication initiatives.

Veum's previous experience includes social media, writing and design, along with project and event coordination for the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, where she recently completed a two-year internship. Additionally, Veum brings a strong livestock background to the team.

A native of Albany, Wis., Veum is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and will graduate in December. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences, with an emphasis in Animal Science and Life Sciences Communication. Veum is an active member of UW-Madison Saddle & Sirloin Club, most recently serving as club president. She is also a member of the Association of Women in Agriculture and the UW-Madison Collegiate Farm Bureau.
