A new mobile app gives users instant access to Wisconsin FFA

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation and Wisconsin Association of FFA introduce a new Wisconsin FFA app just in time for the celebration of National FFA Week, February 21- 28, 2015.

The app can be found by downloading the Guidebook application from the app store on any mobile device and searching for "Wisconsin FFA". Once in the application, users will find a wealth of current information on FFA contacts, events and activities.

Notable features include quick links to an event calendar, the Wisconsin Association of FFA's Facebook and Twitter accounts and the Wisconsin FFA Officer blogs.

The app provides access to press releases, FFA contest dates and results, chapter officer challenges and a photo album. Forms and letters for Wisconsin FFA chapter members and advisors are also available through this new online application.

"The Wisconsin Association of FFA App is an amazing technology piece that we are very grateful to Rural Mutual Insurance for, and for their continued support of the youth of today and tomorrow," says Jeffrey Hicken, State FFA Advisor.

Preparation for the app began in fall 2014, in collaboration with Rural Mutual Insurance, with the goal of having a source of information about the Wisconsin Association of FFA at a person's fingertips. The app will be managed by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation.

"Rural Mutual is proud of our association with future rural leaders," says John Quirk, director of marketing at Rural Mutual Insurance. "As a sponsor of the Wisconsin FFA Convention, the FFA Farm Forum and FFA Chapter Leadership Proficiency awards, we are thrilled to be able to provide a mobile application that can be used to engage people and bring new useful technologies to them."

At Rural Mutual Insurance we have been protecting what we value in Wisconsin for over 80 years. As one of the top 50 property and casualty companies in the country, we provide a full line of insurance products exclusively to families, businesses and farms in Wisconsin. And since Rural Mutual does business in only one state, premiums paid here, stay here to keep Wisconsin strong.
