Midwest District Sales Manager Mitch Deimund announces Diamond V's new regional sales associate for the South Dakota region, Emily Achen.

Emily is transitioning from her role at Diamond V as a North America resource coordinator in order to serve dairy producers directly, working with Diamond V teammates Dr. Tom Oelberg and Todd Franz.

Emily grew up on a small dairy farm in central Minnesota. The family farm has since grown to become Warner Dairy near Aberdeen, SD. She has continued to help her family show cattle at state and national events. Emily received her BS in Animal Science (Dairy Industry emphasis) from University of Minnesota. After graduation, she worked as a dairy nutrition consultant in Minnesota and South Dakota, following which she joined Diamond V.

Also, Diamond V Director of National Accounts Kevin Larson announces the promotion of Allison Meinders to the position of North America resource coordinator, based in the corporate headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Allison's duties will include sales, marketing, and administrative support for the North America Business and Teams, working closely with Senior Resource Coordinator Heather Becker.

Allison joined Diamond V in June 2011 and has served as an administrative assistant for customer service while also providing CRM and sales support. She began her career in Cedar Rapids as a therapeutic recreation specialist and youth counselor at St. Luke's Hospital and held management and leadership positions at The Views Senior Living.

Allison is an Iowa native, graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, and volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
