Dairywomen are invited to the Dairy Girl Network event scheduled at World Ag Expo. Dairy girls will meet on Tue., Feb. 9, 2016 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the International Agri-Center Conference Dining Room.

The networking event is open to women involved with any part of dairy – whether as a calf feeder, dairy owner, marketing or sales consultant servicing dairy farms or cheese producers, veterinarian, researchers, etc. If there is a dairy cow involved in what she does, she's invited.

"World Ag Expo continually seeks to support all aspects of agriculture," said Katy Young, show operations manager. "In collaborating with Dairy Girl Network, we hope to show that support and make space for important conversations and connections to happen between female members of the ag community."

Local producer, Rosa Brothers Milk Company of Hanford, Calif., will be onsite at the event to provide milk and ice cream samples from their creamery in Tulare, Calif. Dairy Goddess, a farmstead artisan cheese maker and dairy processor from Lemoore, Calif., will share cheese samples.

The Dairy Girl Network strives to connect dairywomen with one another as a source of support and inspiration. Dairywomen attending World Ag Expo from California and across the nation are encouraged to join the Dairy Girl Network event. Programs being developed by the fast-growing national organization will be introduced.

World Ag Expo believes in the mission of the Dairy Girl Network and is making strong efforts to welcome dairywomen to the event. A $5 discount for online tickets will be offered to attendees registered for the Dairy Girl Network event. Complete advance registration online at www.DairyGirlNetwork.com to redeem the discount code for World Ag Expo. Walk-ins are welcome at the event as well.
