Tammy Anderson Wise, CEO of the Dairy Council of California has earned Certified Association Executive (CAE), the highest professional distinction awarded by the American Society of Association Executives.

CAE certification requires three years of experience in association management, a minimum of 100 hours of professional development, the passing of a stringent written examination on association management and pledging to uphold the association's code of ethics.

"Tammy hit the floor running when she became CEO of Dairy Council of California almost three years ago," said Dairy Council of California Board Chair and dairyman Chuck Ahlem. "Her commitment to managing our Dairy Council investment in nutrition education professionally is reflected in the spirit of continuous improvement she brings to the job every day. We're very proud of her."

ASAE has 21,000 members with 4,000 holding the CAE credential.
