This spring, Borden® Cheese products, made and distributed by Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), will be expanded by the introduction of GOOD2GETHER snack trays. This portable snack combines real, natural cheese and crunchy mini-twist pretzels in a prepackaged container.
"The snacking business continues to grow," said Jennifer Collins, DFA brand manager. "Studies show snacking now represents half of all eating occasions, and consumers are looking for interesting, less processed food in smaller-sized packages that can be eaten on the go. That is exactly what we have created in the new Borden® Cheese GOOD2GETHER snacks."
The new product will come in four varieties. GOOD2GETHER will be available with mild cheddar, sharp cheddar, colby jack and pepper jack cheese cubes in one compartment, and crunchy mini-twist pretzels in the other.
"It's a nutritious snack that comes in a portable package that will be great for both kids and adults," Collins said.
The 2.05-ounce package features an easy-to-peel-back lid, is an excellent source of calcium, and contains 11 grams of protein per serving.
"We are really excited about this product's versatility to cover a wide range of consumer needs, from a late day snack to a quick bite between meals," said Collins.
"GOOD2GETHER provides a great opportunity for us to get some of our popular Borden® Cheese products in the hands of consumers who live busy lives, are on the go and looking for a wholesome, prepackaged snack," Collins said.
Borden® CheeseGOOD2GETHER snack will hit the shelves in mid-March at select retailers.
